Talk about a classic wedding! Beth & Jonathan’s Southern Maryland wedding was just that!! Taking place at the Jesus Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Owings, Maryland, this Calvert County wedding was beautiful, elegant, and graceful.
We started off the day right at the church with the full wedding party ready to rock their formals. Beth and her bridesmaids were stunning and their details included delicate bouquets. When Jonathan and his groomsmen slipped their jackets on, they flaunted their manly looks.
Immediately following those photos, the bride and groom securely kept away from one another, the ceremony began. The couple exchanged vows in a traditional Catholic mass. Breathtaking were the stone walls and the repeating luminous arches that accentuated the church’s grandiosity.
The church is serene inside and out. The property grounds offered little secluded garden nooks to photograph in. Beth and Jonathan were so natural during their formal photos, we feel truly blessed to work with such a lovely couple. The reception in the adjacent hall, another grand piece of architecture with wood panels and an abundance of natural light, was equally impressive. However, the most memorable moments were truly the instances that showed the family bonds. There were plenty of teary eyed guests and most certainly the parents during both the dances and speeches. The one that stood out the most to us was during the father-daughter dance. Beth’s dad couldn’t hold the happy tears as he proudly twirled his daughter around the dance floor.
