Lauren & Jona’s Southern Maryland Engagement Session was the ultimate Southern Maryland farm experience.
For any couple who loves animals, this Southern Maryland Farm Engagement Session is totally worth a look! After chatting with bride-to-be Lauren on the phone, we instantly knew we were going to be fast friends with this wonderful couple! Our personalities clicked right away so, the more Lauren told us about her upcoming wedding, the more we got excited! We wanted to be the absolute best photographer for her vision and we definitely couldn’t wait to see the beautiful farm that would serve as the location of the couple’s Fall wedding.
Being partially Southern Maryland natives (Richie born and raised; Alie for some 17 years), it was so great to spend sunrise on a farm. We were in awe of all the beauty: the trees, the open fields, and the fresh air. The family farm sits south, between Charles and St. Mary’s county in the typical picturesque
Southern Maryland setting. The first thing we noticed was how spacious their property was and how pretty the surrounding land is. We got a really good sense of the farm’s layout and it was nice to see (and hear) in person, from Lauren & Jona, their vision for their wedding.
We had a lot of fun being able to interact with the horses! Lauren and Jona also took us to the stables to meet the newest addition to the farm, the baby goats. We were so in love, we wished we could take one home!
Lauren is one of the kindest souls we’ve ever met and Jona is so caring. Their dynamic really inspired us. Having faced many hardships, their support of one another is so touching. We can sense that this is a couple that is truly grateful of loving one another and are excited to be in this journey together. We are so lucky to have met people like them.
We’re so excited to see Lauren & Jona get married this fall – we love their wedding already!
