These two love birds had a ball of a time during their mini DC Engagement in Georgetown. With the couple, we walked around a few blocks of the heart of Historic Georgetown’s alleyways. Simply photographing moments candidly and pausing at locations the peaked our interested. Such as the colorful graffiti wall!

Emily and Ed are both classical musicians so it was a fitting surprise to reach Blues Alley, one of the oldest jazz super clubs. A very important piece of history, it turned into a very special setting for the pair.

We managed to end the session at the banks of the Chesapeake Ohio Canal.  One of D.C’s most iconic locations, the C&O canal stretches along the Potomac River Valley. Although it was, and still is, undergoing extensive construction and renovations, we got to enjoy it. Even if we were restricted to facing one direction. We are so excited for the changes that will be happening.  The National Park Service has some really great plans for the canal. Here is a snippet, “…riding a boat along the canal in Georgetown is a cherished memory for generations of people. With the help of its partners, Georgetown Heritage and the District of Columbia, The National Park Service looks forward to bringing the experience back to the city.” How exciting will it be once it’s over?

Emily and Ed had a lovely Christmas wedding, so we’ll have their wedding blog coming soon! Congratulations you too.
