If you’ve never visited Washington DC’s Tidal Basin during Cherry Blossom season, you owe it to yourself to do so! Cherry blossom engagement sessions are sought out desperately by many Washingtonians. And, we were so lucky to meet Selma and Rodolfo, for their engagement photography session, while the trees were still in peak bloom!
We connected with Selma on Facebook JUST a couple days before the session – as it frequently happens when there is a natural wonder that dictates when sessions can take place!
We really enjoyed getting to know the couple and watching them gracefully dance and pose around the lovely cherry trees felt strangely natural. Rodolfo seemed to know how to make Selma giggle and smile with emotion on cue. It’s obviously apparent that these two are wildly in love! For their engagement session, Selma & Rofolfo wanted to incorporate the blossoms because they are actually part of the theme of their upcoming wedding. Washingtonian’s at heart (and by location), the couple is planning a large wedding in Bolivia next month. We are very excited for them and wish them all the best!
